PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass mono-fuel combustion burner which is applied to a pulverized coal boiler for biomass combustion, a biomass multi-fuel combustion boiler which reduces an amount of CO2 resulting from fossil fuel, and a biomass fuel combustion method which utilizes them.SOLUTION: The biomass mono-fuel combustion burner includes a biomass fuel jetting nozzle 10 having a fuel jetting opening 19 which jets biomass fuel transported to primary air, a secondary air nozzle 20 having a second layer jetting opening 23 which encloses the fuel jetting opening, and a tertiary air nozzle 25 having a tertiary air jetting opening 27 which encloses the secondary air nozzle jetting opening. The burner further includes a fuel concentration adjusting part 15 which transforms a biomass fuel flow to a circulation flow by a biomass fuel jetting nozzle so that a fuel concentration is distributed in such a manner as causing the fuel concentration to be deeper on an outer peripheral side and a circulation degree adjusting plate 17 which suppresses the circulation of the jetted fuel flow. The secondary air volume is suppressed to form a buffer flow between the fuel flow and a tertiary air flow, thus resulting in improved ignition property and flame holding property.
