PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feasible component of a nuclear reactor to which adhesion of a radioactive nuclide is suppressed, a method for suppressing adhesion of a radioactive nuclide to a component of a nuclear power plant, and a film forming device for the component of the nuclear power plant.SOLUTION: Chemical decontamination performed after shutdown of a nuclear reactor allows the surface in contact with furnace water of the nuclear reactor to be decontaminated and exposed. Particles or a film containing cerium is then formed on the surface of the component of a nuclear power plant in contact with water. The adhesion of a radioactive nuclide to the component of the nuclear power plant is thus suppressed.
