PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new microorganism which has high decomposing activity to short-chain fatty acid, an offensive odor inhibitor which uses it, and a control method of an offensive odor originated from short-chain fatty acid, without regard to time, place, and condition of use.SOLUTION: There are provided a new microorganism, Bacillus thuringiensis D45 (accession number NITE P-1210), an offensive odor inhibitor which includes the microorganism or the spore of it, and a control method of offensive odor by which short-chain fatty acid is decomposed and removed by spraying the offensive odor inhibitor to source of the offensive odor, or by feeding it to livestock.
