PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change into an appropriate charging method according to a request of a user.SOLUTION: A handy terminal includes: a secondary battery for supplying the handy terminal with a drive power; a power-receiving connection part for being electrically connected to an external power supply source; charging mode storage means that stores a plurality of charging modes with different charging conditions as the charging modes charging from the power supply source connected to the power-receiving connection part to the secondary battery; charging mode selection means for selecting one charging mode from the plurality of charging modes; and charging control means for charging the secondary battery on the basis of the one charging mode selected by the charging mode selection means.
