Food container i.e. soup plate, for use in self-service restaurant, has protective bell and legs with bent return unit that is projected inwardly and inserted elastically under edge of container to form wedging unit in vertical translation
The container (2) has a protective bell (3) that is made of transparent plastic, vents (10) and three to four vertical legs (8) projecting downwardly. The legs are vertically slidable against a peripheral edge (2c) of the container. The legs are provided with a locking unit for locking the container in horizontal translation. The set of legs is arranged with a bent return unit (9) that is projected inwardly and adapted to be inserted elastically under the edge of the container to form a wedging unit in vertical translation. A rib (13) forms a baffle for the container.
