The system has two identical image pickup subassemblies (10) comprising respective lenses (1) and respective photodetectors (2). Display units (30) display images output from the photodetectors. The lenses comprise respective removable phase filters (3). Image processing units (20) deconvolve the output image in real time by impulse responses associated with the lenses and the phase filters, before the image is displayed on the display unit. The phase filters are engraved on surfaces of optical components of the lenses.
