Method for establishing communication between two optoelectronic transceivers of emergency call network arranged along e.g. motorway, involves receiving signal during reception time interval that is distinct from transmission time interval
The method involves transmitting a signal during a transmission time interval by an optoelectronic transceiver (10.1) over an optical fiber (20) at a predetermined wavelength of about 1550 nm. Another signal is received over the optical fiber at the predetermined wavelength by the optoelectronic transceiver, during a reception time interval that is distinct from the transmission time interval. The latter signal is emitted by another optoelectronic transceiver (10.2). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an optoelectronic transceiver (2) a communication system.
