Device for collecting and/or installing signaling cone on e.g. motorway, has acquisition system including electromagnet to exert field of magnetic attraction at plate so as to attract and hold cone against plate
The device has a structure including a support portion (23) of an acquisition system (3) and a base for connection of the structure in a vehicle i.e. van, where the system is movably mounted relative to the base to pick and place a signaling cone (5) to a storage position for storing the cone in a storage space and a retrieval position for retrieving the cone. The system includes an electromagnet (9) to exert field of magnetic attraction at a plate (4) so as to attract and hold the cone against the plate, where the cone is provided with a curved steel plate (7). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for collecting a signaling cone (2) a method for installing a signaling cone.
