Autonomous assisting trolley for assisting patient to lavatory in geriatric or hospital environment, has retractable support mattress formed of set of actuators that are cooperated with each other for supporting body of patient
The trolley has a retractable support mattress formed of a set of actuators, where the actuators are cooperated with each other for supporting a body of a patient (8). Each of the actuators includes a control valve formed of a permanent magnet. The valve is opened automatically when magnetic members i.e. gloves, approach the valve. The mattress is arranged inside a shroud (3). The shroud is provided with a suction system and a polluted air treatment unit (6). A sealed and non-magnetic flexible membrane is interposed between the patient and one of the actuators.
