The sub-assembly has a structural part (12) i.e. hollow body's external side, supporting a connected part (14) i.e. rear bumper support, which is coupled with an external face (16) of the structural part. A pre-maintenance unit formed of metal pins (20) and premaintenance tabs (22) for pre-maintenance of the connected part on the structure part. The pins are secured to the structural part in a sealed manner by projecting from the face. The tabs are secured to connected part by defining a hole for passage of the pins through free ends of the tabs to allow the tabs to encircle the pins. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle.
