摘要

The method involves extracting a set of device items that is representative of an architecture of a mechanical molding part e.g. gear box casing, in a database (10) of generic models having different architectures of parts. A set of functional characteristics of the part is determined at a prototype stage from extracts of representative elements. The part to be designed is modeled from the set of functional characteristics for building a digital model of the part. A virtual parameterized architecture is validated visually.
