Method for modifying state of outer surface of plastic article e.g. make-up compact, involves applying pressure and heat directly on part of outer surface of article by punch to modify surface state for changing visual appearance of article
The method involves forming a plastic article (10) whose outer surface (12a) has a surface state. Pressure and heat are applied directly on a part (13) of the surface of the plastic article by a punch to modify the surface state for changing visual appearance of the article. The punch is applied at a temperature of 200 degree Celsius for duration of 0.1 S to 5 S, where the punch is made of silicone charged with metal particles, brass or magnesium.
