The system (300) has heat energy storage device (315) storing heat energy, where the device has heat energy storage medium including a set of concrete blocks. A heat exchanger (313) is thermally coupled with the heat energy storage device and an overheating amplifier (309). The heat exchanger exchanges heat between working liquid in the overheating amplifier and energy transfer fluid in the heat energy storage device, where the amplifier produces overheated water vapor. A condensation turbine (305) generates electricity by using the working liquid. The blocks are armored by metal.
