Stator for axial flow disk shaped electric machine, has set of sectors, where each sector includes modules, and tie rod assuring connection of different modules from same sector and different sectors and coupling of sectors to support
The stator has a set of sectors (S) having modules (1). Each module is formed by a stack of magnetic sheets including projections (1a, 1b) for winding a coil and a notch (1c) for mounting a connection and coupling unit i.e. tie rod (3). The tie rod assures connection of different modules from same sector and different sectors and coupling of the sectors to a mechanical support (4). The support has a star studded rim with magnetic or non magnetic steel bars. One of the projections is formed at end of side faces, so as to form the notch in position of juxtaposition of adjacent modules.
