Motorization assembly for use in e.g. car, has pressure sensor to measure pressure inside measuring volume, and calculating unit to detect cracking of particle filter from variation of pressure measured by sensor
The assembly (4) has a stopper (26) i.e. butterfly valve, displaced between an open position and a closed position in which the stopper blocks off a pipe (12) i.e. cylindrical tube, to define a measuring volume (30) inside the pipe with a particle filter (20). A fluidically-controllable pump (31) is connected to the volume, and creates overpressure and underpressure inside the volume. A pressure sensor (34) e.g. capacitive sensor, measures pressure inside the volume. A calculating unit (42) detects cracking of the filter from a variation of pressure measured by the sensor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for detecting cracking of a filter of a motorization assembly (2) an information recording medium comprising instructions for performing a method for detecting cracking of a filter of a motorization assembly.
