Cell for testing ageing of e.g. polymeric material utilized in e.g. oil industry, has chamber comprising opening sealed by membrane, and inlet and outlet units for inputting and outputting test fluid in chamber
The cell has a chamber (10) comprising an opening sealed by a membrane that is made of material to be tested. Inlet and outlet units are utilized for inputting and outputting test fluid (34) in the chamber. The inlet and outlet units are arranged at determined distance from the membrane in order to be located at above or below a level of the test fluid. An external face (32) of the membrane is covered by a perforated plate or a grid. The chamber comprises a control unit (18) for controlling internal pressure at the chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for testing ageing of a material.
