The method involves implementing a public-key asymmetric algorithm in an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) manufacturing unit. An encrypted random number (S') is determined in the unit according to execution of the algorithm to which a password code is applied. The number is transmitted (202) to a client device (12) in which a private-key asymmetric algorithm is implemented. The number is applied (203) to the private-key algorithm. Concordance of a number application result is verified (205) with the code. A function of an ASIC (13) is activated (206) for positive concordance.
