The device has a slug (9) anchoring tapered parts and maintained in bits of a rotatable divider (12) that is rotated around a horizontal axis perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of a bar (5), where advancing of the bar and displacement of a mobile vice (8) toward the bits of the divider are carried in hidden time during machining of the slug by a main machining pin (10). A bar advancing module (2), a slicing module (7), the vice, the divider and the pin are combined in a different manner according to a requirement to obtain a special machine or a machine.
