Implantable electrode for use in cardiac pacemaker, has piezoelectric effect metal layer covered with thin film, where electrode is made of materials generating piezoelectric effect as primary or secondary energy source
The electrode (15) has a piezoelectric effect metal layer (16) covered with a thin film (17) to avoid thrombosis or platelet aggregation reactions or allergic reactions of a tissue or organ of a human body or animal, where the electrode is made of materials generating piezoelectric effect as a primary or secondary energy source for assuring activity of muscle stimulation and collection of stimulated or spontaneous electrical potentials of the tissue or the organ. A stimulation module (29) allows inducing depolarization of muscle cells of the tissue or the organ. The electrode is connected to a case of a pacemaker by Wireless Fidelity (WiFi)type wireless communication. An independent claim is also included for an implantable muscle stimulation device comprising a case.
