The pump (1) has a pumping chamber (17) whose wall is formed corresponding to an elastic membrane that is integrated with flexible reinforcing ribs. The reinforcing ribs extend from a central point of the membrane, where the central point is connected to a motorized displacement unit i.e. rigid bar, for increasing/reducing the volume of the pumping chamber. The reinforcing ribs are made of flexible and elastic or non-elastic material. The thickness of the reinforcing ribs is greater than that of the membrane.
