The device has an intake opening located inside a motor car, and a vent (3) arranged in an outer region of the motor car, where the intake opening and the vent are connected together by a flow channel (9). A ventilation flap (2) temporarily blocks the connection between the vent and the intake opening. A noise control device (1) is arranged in the region of the vent for reducing sound entry into the vehicle interior over the vent from the outer region. A seal is arranged at the noise control device, where the noise control device is formed as an acoustic enclosure.
