Method for manufacturing watery urea solution in motor vehicle, involves supplying predetermined quantity of ammonia granulate and predetermined quantity of water belonging to quantity of ammonia granulate to mixing chamber
The method involves supplying predetermined quantity of ammonia granulate (AG) and a predetermined quantity of water belonging to quantity of the ammonia granulate to mixing chamber (14). A urea solution is produced in the mixing chamber from the ammonia granulate and the water and then urea solution is supplied from the mixing chamber to a Heng Long-tank (11) and is removable from the urea solution as reduction agent for the selective catalytic reduction. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for producing an aqueous urea solution in a motor vehicle.
