The amplifier has amplifier circuits (23,24) that are connected to a hybrid coupler (25). The hybrid coupler is connected to via an output terminal (27) to an end terminal (1). The end terminal is comprised with a contact element (14) which is adapted to electrically contact a spacer (11) at a predetermined position, where the contact element is connected to a ground terminal (13). The contact element is displaced along the length of the spacer.
