Device and a method for detecting and channeled transport of diffusely discharged media, substances or mixtures of substances below water surface or the bottom of a sea or a lake towards a storage- or collecting container or basin, are claimed. The method comprises providing a sufficiently large space for calming and adequate cross-section for promoting the lighter phases, and carrying out dimensioning through the use of buoyant body (6) and stabilization elements (10), which allow dimensioning of larger components. The medium to be transported away flows by the natural process of flotation. Device and a method for detecting and channeled transport of diffusely discharged media, substances or mixtures of substances below the water surface or the bottom of a sea or a lake towards a storage- or collecting container or basin, are claimed. The method comprises providing a sufficiently large space for calming and adequate cross-section for promoting the lighter phases, and carrying out dimensioning through the use of buoyant body (6) and stabilization elements (10), which allow dimensioning of the larger components. The medium to be transported away flows by the natural process of flotation on the surface and the flow of the ascending medium mixture can be supported on the surface by suction with a commercially available pump (18) and then can be decomposed into individual material flows using a centrifuge or other suitable system.
