Spacer for decoupling vibrations of vibrator in four-cylinder internal combustion engine of motor vehicle, has bellows arranged such that radius of curvature and center of curvature are parallel to rotational axis of vibrator
The spacer has an annularly corrugated metal bellows that are arranged in a fixed string (3) which is connected to a vibrator (1) about a rotational axis (2). A secondary spacer (4) is inserted in the fixed string and the metal bellows are pre-deformed so that axis (7) of the bellows forms a constant radius of curvature (9) and a curvature angle of more than 5[deg] . The radius of curvature and center of curvature (10) defined by a curvature plane (11) are parallel to the rotational axis of the vibrator.
