The body (1) has a fluid flow channel (2) assigned into evenly spaced teeth (3) and partially passed inside the body. The flow channel comprises an intake (2a) located outside of an intervention region, and an outlet that is located either in a region of a tooth flank (4) or outside of the intervention region or a tooth root. The flow channel is formed as a cooling channel or lubricating channel and partially passes between the tooth flank and an adjacent surface of the tooth flank. A cooling medium i.e. cooling fluid, is guided through the flow channel inside the body. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a gearing body.
