The suspension (1) has a damper element (8) for damping movement of a wheel (2) arranged at the suspension, where the damper element is pivotally mounted on a rocker (6). The rocker is mounted on a structure or on a subframe of a vehicle, where the damper element is arranged along travel direction of the vehicle. One end of a coupling bar (5) is mounted on a longitudinal arm (4) or a wheel carrier (3) and another end is mounted on the rocker, where bearing point (6.2) of the coupling bar at the rocker is spaced from bearing point (6.3) of the damper element on the rocker.
