Electric machine e.g. permanently actuated synchronous motor, for electrical driven vehicle, has air flow generating unit for creating air flow in closed circuit, where apertures of rotor and heat exchanger are merged in closed circuit
The machine i.e. electrical drive machine (1), has a rotor (20) fixed at a rotor shaft (40) and comprising multiple apertures (27) that extend in an axial direction of the shaft. A stator (10) surrounds the rotor, where a housing (50) surrounds the stator and the rotor. An airflow generating unit (60) i.e. radial fan, for creating an air flow in a closed circuit is provided inside the housing and driven by the shaft. The apertures of the rotor and a heat exchanger (70) are merged in the circuit. A compressor chamber of the radial fan is assigned to each aperture of the rotor.
