Method for compensating pressure waves in high pressure injection system of self-ignition engine of vehicle, involves reflecting high-pressure hydraulic systems that are associated with cylinders by high-pressure wave influences
The method involves guiding high-pressure lines from a common-rail to respective injection actuators, where the injection actuators are driven with two successive control signals. A control following another control is corrected by a correction value (facCyl) for individually minimizing pressure wave influences for each of cylinders, where the pressure wave influences reflect high-pressure hydraulic systems that are associated with respective cylinders. The correction value is selected from length and diameter of the high-pressure lines that are associated with the cylinders. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for executing steps involved in a method for compensating pressure waves in a high pressure injection system of a combustion engine (2) a computer program product with a program code for performing a method for compensating pressure waves in a high pressure injection system of a combustion engine.
