Control device of e.g. actuating device for operating system, has comparison circuit that compares measured characteristic value of characteristic curve of actuating device and theoretical characteristic value
The control device has a control circuit (7) for controlling a reference-adjusting device (5). The characteristic value of the characteristic curve of actuating device is determined from data measured by reference-adjusting device and the valve positioning measuring unit (11). A comparison circuit (17) is provided to compare the characteristic value of the characteristic curve of actuating device and the theoretical characteristic value for determining the malfunction of the actuating device (2). An independent claim is included for method for controlling operation of control device.
