The car i.e. passenger car (2), has a loading space (1) limited down by a loading bottom (5) and laterally by side walls (6) of the car and arranged behind a seat assembly (3). A plate-shaped loading bottom attachment (9) is loosely placed on the loading bottom. A plate-shaped loading bottom attachment securing unit e.g. hook and loop element (12), secures the plate-shaped loading bottom attachment in the region of the side walls. The loading bottom attachment is formed with tabs (11) by a plate-like center part (10).
