The method involves forming a functional layer (1) and a support layer (2) on a tubular substrate (3) through spray-compacting process. The tubular substrate is removed, after the functional and support layers are formed on the tubular substrate. The functional layer, support layer and the tubular substrate are made of copper, copper alloy, aluminum or aluminum alloy. The tubular substrate is made of aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy. An independent claim is included for bushing.
