Test stand for use in automobile industry to test component i.e. clutch, of power train for motor car, has control device controlling actuator according to instantaneous value of physical parameter of power train and predetermined values
The test stand (100) has a controllable actuator (110) operating a pedal (121) e.g. clutch pedal, of a power train (120) of a motor car. A measuring device (112) measures an instantaneous value of a physical parameter of the power train, where the physical parameter is a function of a pedal position. A control device (111) controls the actuator according to the instantaneous value and predetermined values that specify minimum and maximum values for controlling the physical parameter. The control device is implemented in form of a program module in a system controller of the test stand. An independent claim is also included for a method for testing a drive train of a motor car.
