Bipolar coagulation forceps for seizing, dissecting and bipolar coagulating of tissue in neurosurgery, have manually operable electric switch arranged in region near gripping portion for activation of coagulation current circuit
The forceps have two resilient branches pressable against each other, where distal ends of the branches are connected at a connection part adjoining a spring portion (18). A gripping portion (20) is provided on the spring portion adjoining jaws (22, 24) of the forceps. A manually operable electric switch (26) is arranged in a region near the gripping portion for activation of a coagulation current circuit, where the electric switch is flush with an inner surface of one of the branches.
