The transformer assembly (1) has auto-transformer units (2,3) that includes autotransformers (4-9) whose winding ends (4a-9a,4e-9e) are connected to the connection points (T101-T103, T201-T203) which are connected to different phase conductors (10a-10c). The taps (4z-9z) provided at side of corresponding auto-transformers are individually connected with inputs (E14a-E14c,E16a-E16c) corresponding to flow control valves of two six-pulse rectifier bridges (14,15).
