Method for recognizing dynamic mechanical loads of given rating classes during driving of vehicle, involves recognizing dynamic loading of rating class for waveforms, if determined similarity meets predetermined conditions
The method involves determining a characteristic value (101) based on predeterminable period of detected signal course. A set of rating classes is determined (102) from another set of rating classes whose characteristic intervals incorporate the characteristic value. A respective similarity between signal course or derived performances and pattern courses are determined (103) using cross correlation or a pattern recognition process. A dynamic loading of the rating class is recognized (104) for the waveforms, if the determined similarity meets predetermined conditions. An independent claim is also included for a device for recognizing dynamic mechanical loads of given rating classes during driving of a vehicle.
