Operating device i.e. key, for plug-in hybrid vehicle, has energy storage electrically charged by charging process from external electrical power supply network over electrical plug connector, and control device controlling charging process
The device has an electrical energy storage electrically charged by a charging process from an external electrical power supply network over an electrical plug connector. A control device controls the charging process. Charging profiles e.g. person-related charge profile, weekday charging profile, departure time charging profile, time of arrival-charging profile, low-power charging profile and/or high-speed charging profile, are stored in the device for performing the charging process. The device comprises an interface to a mobile electronic device e.g. smartphone. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a control system for a plug-in motor vehicle (2) a method for controlling a charging process in a plug-in motor vehicle.
