X-ray optics e.g. multi-layer optics, for use in e.g. laboratory X-ray tubes, has housing, beam entrance window and beam exit window, where beam entrance window and beam exit window are made of vitreous carbon or polyethylene naphthalate
The optics (1) has a housing (2), a beam entrance window (4) and a beam exit window (6), where the beam entrance window and the beam exit window are made of vitreous carbon or polyethylene naphthalate (PEN). The beam entrance window and the beam exit window comprise a window socket (3) for connecting a gastight component with the housing, where the gastight component is made by a soldering material. A poly capillary optical part (7) or a mono capillary optical part (8) is arranged in the housing, where the housing is filled with helium gas.
