The method involves providing two mating portions of a metallic material such as weld filler metal silver or a silver alloy in the joint gap at the solidified melt bath. The overlapping welding of two mating portions of metallic material is performed at the exposed edges using the tungsten inert gas welding or plasma-welding process, so that the average hardness value of 550 and 800 is set in the joint gap at the solidified melt bath.
