Linear sterilization module for use in container treatment machine for sterilizing container that is utilized for storing of food in food packaging industry, has treatment elements for moving along with container
The module (2) has sterilization zones (34) arranged within an enclosure part (39) that forms a sterile zone (11). A treatment belt conveys a container (9) that is subjected with a sterilization medium by a set of treatment elements, where the treatment elements move along with the container. A pre-heating zone (33) and a blowing zone (35) are arranged in a transportation direction of the container before the sterilization zones and after the sterilization zones, respectively or between the sterilization zones within the enclosure part. The sterilization medium is liquid, gas, X-ray or electron radiation. An independent claim is also included for a method for sterilizing a container.
