The method involves providing a mirror (3) which is moved by actuator for propagating the laser beam output from pump laser (1). The frequencies of individual laser pulse are adjusted on statistical distribution within line profile of resonator by active modulation of optical path length of resonator. An independent claim is included for pulsed laser resonator.
