Logistics vehicle e.g. money transporter, for transporting e.g. money, has load lock comprising two doors, and access control unit for controlling opening and/or closing of one of doors
The vehicle (10) has a load lock (2) comprising two doors (1, 3) between which lock regions are located. The doors separate the lock regions from loading areas, respectively. A checking unit checks a biometric characteristic of an authorized user. An access control unit (30) receives and evaluates the biometric characteristic of the authorized user and controls opening and/or closing of one of the doors. A conveyer (4) transports a load (20) from a loading area (11) to the latter door by the load lock. The conveyor includes a robot with a telescopable joint arm. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a logistics vehicle.
