Household appliance e.g. dryer, has safety device for protecting storage elements, and control module adapted to partial or complete destruction of read data of storage elements during absence of compliance of codes
The appliance has a safety device (11) for protecting the storage elements (1) from unauthorized reading with a reading device (2). A control module (3) has a memory (4) for storing a code (80) and a comparator for comparing another code (8) with the former code. The control module is adapted to partial or complete destruction of read data of the storage elements during absence of compliance of the codes. The storage elements, control module and the memory are arranged on a single semiconductor substrate. The latter code is sent to the control module to release the memory. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for protecting a household appliance (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions to perform a method for protecting the household appliance.
