Method for lifting e.g. carbon blocks for nuclear reactor kernels for transporting components, involves swinging element behind back section in lifting device such that locking or gripping of element takes place along lifting direction
The method involves inserting an object to be lifted into a lifting device (1) of a lifting apparatus, where the lifting device comprises a radial swing-out element (12) i.e. locking disk. The swing-out element is swung behind a back section in the lifting device such that locking or gripping of the element takes place along lifting direction. The lifting device is provided with a hole i.e. blind hole, that widens in a region with a radial stage of a circular disk. An actuator plate (18) is arranged between a retaining unit (17) and a ceiling wall (9) of a plate (8). The plates are formed in ellipse, rectangle or square shape. An independent claim is also included for a lifting device for lifting loads.
