Measuring system for determining impact strength properties of parameter e.g. rotation speed, of plastic material, has control device determining impact strength properties of plastic strand, measured with respect to material index
The system (1) has a compounding device (3) i.e. twin screw extruder, producing a plastic strand (2). The compounding device is connected with a downstream measurement device (28) in a transport direction (8) of the plastic strand. A striking element is rotationally driven by a drive motor along a rotation axis to exercise strike of the plastic strand. A measuring sensor measures measuring signal during the beat at the plastic strand. A control device (7) determines impact strength properties of the plastic strand, which are measured with respect to material index from the measurement signal.
