Mixture for producing e.g. concrete and mortar, comprises at least a portion of cement as a binder and at least a portion of sand as a concrete aggregate that comprises a portion of tuff sand as part of the sand fraction. An independent claim is also included for producing the concrete, mortar or similar with the mixture, comprising forming the sand fraction by dosing a quantity of the sand and a quantity of the tuff sand preferably in a sand pit and then mixing together and further processing the proportion of sand with the proportion of cement to a concrete in a concrete plant.
