The method involves detecting (S1) static risk evaluation values of components of gas turbine and performing weighted addition of static risk evaluation values to produce normalized primary risk value. The dynamic risk evaluation values of components are detected (S2) and weighted addition of dynamic risk evaluation values is performed to produce normalized temporal risk value. The total risk evaluation value is determined (S3) by relating the produced risk values. The total risk evaluation value is normalized (S4) and displayed in different colors for each component on a display. An independent claim is included for device for continuous determination and visualization of total risk evaluation of gas turbine.
