Electrode arrangement for use in pinna to exert transcutaneous nerve stimulation impulses on surface of ear of human, has reference electrode contacting with surface of ear by contacting area, which is three times large as another area
The arrangement (1) has a stimulation electrode (5) contacting with a surface of ear (2) by a contacting area. A reference electrode (6') is in contact with another surface of the ear by another contacting area. The latter contacting area is 3 times larger than the former contacting area. The stimulation electrode functions as a cathode, and the reference electrode functions as an anode in an electrical current circuit, which is closed during transcutaneous stimulation. The electrodes consist of a metallic body, which is arranged at a support body.
