Driving dynamics controller for e.g. active steering system of motor vehicle, has compensation unit computing compensation term, where compensation term of control accomplished by feedback control unit is superimposed
The controller has a target generating unit (110) for establishing target behavior of a motor vehicle. A feedback control unit (130) e.g. proportional controller, executes respective operating point-dependent regulation of driving dynamics depending on the target behavior. A compensation unit (140) computes a compensation term as a function of difference between a motor vehicle behavior and the target behavior, where the compensation term of control accomplished by the feedback control unit is superimposed. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a stability control system of a motor vehicle.
