The device (2) i.e. therapeutic rocking chair, has bent skids (1) standing on a connecting rod and suspended on the connecting rod for performing rocking motion. A person stands, sits or lies on a load (4). A drive or a movable or drivable mass body (11) as a gyro is enclosed for changing natural frequency of an oscillating system. The mass body is coupled to the device by a variable transmission for changing the natural frequency of the oscillating system. Natural vibration form is adjusted by controlling and adjusting the drive of the mass body.
